The Knowledge Management Data Steward role supports the firm’s Corporate and Regulatory practices by ensuring data quality and integrity across internal systems. Located in any U.S. office, the role involves managing transactional data related to M&A, finance, capital markets, and regulatory filings. Key responsibilities include designing metadata models, maintaining accurate client and deal data, proactively resolving data issues, and conducting audits to ensure consistency. The Data Steward collaborates with attorneys, practice groups, and other teams to optimize data capture and support initiatives like system migrations, regulatory responses, and business intelligence efforts. The role requires proficiency in regulatory frameworks and technical tools such as SQL, Power BI, and legal platforms like Intapp and Foundation. Effective communication, discretion, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively are essential. The position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in related fields and 3–5 years of experience in data stewardship or legal operations. Reporting to the Chief Legal Operations Officer, this role offers a salary range of $85-100k, emphasizing a focus on data accuracy, secure handling of sensitive information, and supporting legal and regulatory compliance.
