e-Billing Coordinator
The firm is seeking an e-Billing Coordinator to manage the legal e-billing process and ensure the timely and accurate submission of invoices within the firm. This role serves as a key liaison between attorneys, clients, and third-party billing platforms, ensuring compliance with client billing guidelines and resolving billing issues or discrepancies as they arise. Responsibilities include preparing, submitting, and monitoring electronic invoices, reviewing billing data for accuracy, maintaining billing records, reconciling discrepancies, and processing revisions to pre-bills and finalized invoices. The Coordinator will also manage e-billing platform maintenance, including client-specific billing codes and rate structures, submit appeals or adjustments for short-paid invoices, and assist with financial reporting and billing summaries.
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in legal billing, accounts receivable, collections, or a related financial role, along with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Familiarity with law firm billing procedures, client billing guidelines, LEDES format standards, UTBMS coding, and electronic billing platforms is required. Experience with insurance SIR tracking is preferred. An associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
This position follows a hybrid schedule with two remote workdays per week and requires in-office attendance in the Los Angeles office for the remaining days. Overtime may be required as needed. The expected salary range for this role is $90,000–$105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, and includes eligibility for bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
