The Client Development Coordinator – Technology Sector, based out of Austin, TX, supports strategic business development and marketing initiatives for a leading law firm’s global technology practice, which represents a significant portion of the firm’s revenue. This role focuses on enhancing brand visibility, strengthening client relationships, and promoting the firm’s expertise across key areas such as artificial intelligence, media and entertainment, and venture capital.
Key responsibilities include coordinating events, sponsorships, and partnerships; preparing marketing materials, pitches, and survey submissions; and collaborating with lawyers and internal teams to align business development efforts. The coordinator conducts market research and analyzes industry trends to provide actionable insights, supports client-facing initiatives, and helps manage communications and public relations strategies. The role also involves tracking return on investment for events, maintaining business development materials, and contributing to firmwide projects and reporting.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have 2–3 years of marketing or business development experience, ideally in a professional services or legal environment. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM and research tools. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid environment with occasional travel and after-hours commitments.
