This position supports an Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation team, with a focus on cases before the International Trade Commission (ITC). The paralegal is responsible for managing all phases of litigation, including case preparation, document review, discovery, and trial support. Key duties include organizing and maintaining case files, monitoring dockets and deadlines, preparing and proofreading legal filings, and assembling exhibits. The role also involves conducting legal and factual research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw, managing electronic filings through systems like CM/ECF and EDIS, and supporting depositions, hearings, and trials. The paralegal may attend proceedings and provide on-site assistance, as well as mentor junior staff and handle additional litigation-related projects.

Candidates should have at least five years of paralegal experience, including ITC litigation, with a strong understanding of litigation procedures and e-discovery. A bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate are preferred. Proficiency in legal research tools, document management systems, and Microsoft Office is required, along with strong Bluebook skills. The role demands excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities, as well as discretion with confidential information. This hybrid position is based in the Washington, D.C. area and may require travel and overtime.

The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
