The Labor & Employment Attorney (5–9 years) provides comprehensive legal support to employers across a wide range of labor and employment matters, including counseling, investigations, employee relations, and litigation. This role involves handling claims related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour issues (including class and collective actions), as well as conducting legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, managing discovery, and taking or defending depositions. The attorney may also prepare EEOC position statements, respond to DFEH matters, and conduct witness interviews.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in labor or employee relations and deep knowledge of key employment laws, including ADA/FEHA, FMLA/CFRA, and wage and hour regulations. Trial or arbitration experience and a client-focused counseling background are highly valued.

This position is based in Oakland or San Diego and offers a salary range of $200,000 to $250,000, depending on experience.
