The role of Litigation Legal Admin Assistant involves providing comprehensive legal administrative support within a law firm. Key responsibilities include acting as the initial point of contact for visitors, managing the partner’s calendar, and preparing legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, and discovery requests, ensuring compliance with court rules for electronic filing. The assistant monitors and organizes attorney mailboxes, triages emails, maintains structured filing systems, and automates email management in line with firm policies. They handle state e-filings, coordinate client matters, and maintain accurate electronic and physical files. Meeting planning, including booking conference rooms and arranging catering, forms part of the duties. The role also involves coordinating client billing, reviewing pre-bills for accuracy, and verifying final bills, alongside managing office supplies, vendors, and IT/AV tasks. The candidate should have 3-7 years of legal administrative experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, court filing systems, and document management tools, including familiarity with CMS/Aderant platforms. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills are essential, with a degree preferred. The position offers a salary range of $80k to $110k, supporting independent work and teamwork with attorneys and staff.
