The firm is seeking a Practice Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to attorneys and legal professionals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role involves managing day-to-day administrative tasks, including drafting, formatting, and proofreading documents, presentations, and correspondence. The Practice Assistant will coordinate travel arrangements, schedule meetings and conference calls, and handle client communications in a professional manner. Additional responsibilities include processing invoices and reimbursements, assisting with billing and time entry, and supporting the opening of new client matters by preparing conflict checks, engagement letters, and related documentation.
The position also requires maintaining organized electronic and physical files, managing workflow requests, and coordinating with internal departments such as IT, accounting, and records. Candidates must be able to handle multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and produce high-quality work with strong attention to detail.
Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 4–5 years of experience supporting attorneys or legal teams. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and document management systems is required, along with strong communication, organizational, and proofreading skills. The ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential.
The salary range for this position is $36.80 to $55.10 per hour, and the role is bonus eligible with a comprehensive benefits package.
